The Great Website Platform Showdown: Which One Will Set You Free?
Looking for the right website platform? This comparison breaks down the top options in today's market. Your choice ultimately depends on balancing design needs, technical skills, and time investment for updates. Consider these factors carefully to find the platform that best aligns with your project requirements and long-term website goals.
Framer & Webflow
Modern no-code solutions like Framer and Webflow offer sleek designs with built-in animations and easy maintenance at $15-66/month, and the most up to date and easily accessible for people that do not have previous web development experience. They are easy to edit, provide CMS capabilities, forms that can be linked to email, and animations that can provide a more modern and interactive experience for the user.

Squarespace & Wix Studio
These are well known no code website design platforms that many people have heard of but are unfortunately very slow to work with, and have limited design flexibility, performance issues, and basic customization. These I have found to be difficult to design with and although they seem to promise a lot, they make the whole design process a struggle.

WordPress
Most people are familiar with WordPress and I have done work with it in the past, but I have found that it needs to be constantly updated, with each plugin you need to use having it's own updating needs. Elementor Pro also needs to be purchased if you want to have any kind of design customization which is an added cost of $396/year which I would have to purchase and add to the cost of any website I design.
